Academics
IIEP serves as the institutional home to two outstanding master’s programs in the Elliott School of International Affairs: the Master’s in International Economic Policy (MIEP) and the International Development Studies (IDS) programs. MIEP, known prior to 2019 as the “International Trade and Investment Policy” program, affectionately known to alumni and faculty as ITIP, and IDS attract top-tier graduate students from around the world who are studying issues directly related to IIEP activities.
IIEP faculty members are also actively involved in the graduate programs in disciplinary departments (such as economics, political science, history, and geography) as well as professional programs in other GW schools (including the Law School, Business School, Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, and the Milken School of Public Health).
