Annual Urbanization and Poverty Reduction Research Conference

GW Urbanization

The Urbanization and Poverty Reduction Research Conference brings together academics and development practitioners to present and discuss questions relating to People, Markets, and Cities. In particular, the conference focuses on effective land, housing, transport, and local labor market policy in cities and their implications for economic development and social inclusion. The Urbanization conference takes place annually at the World Bank, and IIEP invites GW students, staff, and faculty to attend this cutting-edge conference.
