Nizar Qallab

Nizar is a Managing Director in Cantor Fitzgerald’s award winning global Power, Energy & Infrastructure Investment Banking team. Nizar also serves as Senior Executive Officer of Cantor’s Dubai office. Nizar focuses on advising global clients on Mergers & Acquisitions in the power and renewable energy space with a strong focus on emerging markets. He has led multiple landmark transactions including several first in country privatisations.

Nizar started his career working for the Government of Jordan as an economic analyst at both the Central Bank and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister focusing on early efforts to implement policies intended to pave the way for private sector participation in critical infrastructure. After receiving an MA in International Trade & Investment Policy from the Elliott School, Nizar held multiple roles with leading global financial institutions focusing exclusively on power, renewable energy and infrastructure, culminating in his current role.
