Walter Vester, ESIA P' 27

Walt Vester is Senior Director of Operations Excellence at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG he oversees Performance Management, Process Excellence, and Change Management of a 1000+ headcount shared services organization. Prior to BCG, he founded Huygens: The Tactical Robo-Advisor, an internet-automated investment manager offering diversified index investing with active downside risk management. Before Huygens, Walt was a Managing Director in Blackstone’s Private Equity division, and was a buy-side equity research analyst at AllianceBernstein. He has held previous positions at BCG and Adaptive Broadband Corporation. Early in his career, Walt was an engineer developing algorithms for special ops/secure military radio communications at Harris Corporation. He has multiple US & UK patents, an MBA in Finance from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Computer Engineering from RPI, an MS in Applied Physics from Case Western, and a Series 65 license.
