International development asks how countries and communities can expand opportunity, reduce poverty, and build more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable economies. At IIEP, this research area brings together work on poverty, inequality, climate adaptation, urbanization, governance, human development, and the institutions that shape development outcomes.
