Anthony Yu

Anthony R. Yu is Director at Renaissance Technologies based in New York City.  He is currently responsible for client relationships in a wide range of regions including Asia, Australia, Continental Europe and the US Midwest and Pacific Northwest.  He focuses on cultivating relationships with financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, pensions and other investor types. He began his career in financial services at Amaranth Advisors, a multi-strategy hedge fund and previously interned with the Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Dublin, Ireland.

Anthony is a member of the Board and on the executive committee of the Point Foundation which provides financial support and mentorship to current and future leaders of the LGBT community.

He received a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University (Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude) and an MA from the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago.  In addition, he is a CFA Charterholder, a CAIA designee, and holds Series 3, 63 and 7 licenses.
